Exploring our depths by understanding water's nature.
Blog Overview: Structured Water / Liquid Crystals / Coherence
“We are literally, truly, and scientifically water beings
as much as we are human beings.”
- Dr. Carly Nuday -
How much do you really know about water? Have you ever stopped to wonder what this substance really is?
Most people are already aware that the human body is made up of 70% water. Striking percentage, right?! Well, did you know that 99% of the molecules in our body are living liquid crystals?
Yes, you heard me right. 99%. In fact, 10,000 water molecules surrounds every single protein in our bodies. These crystalline waters are essential to our vitality and “may not just be a major factor that determines the shape of the protein, but may be directly responsible for its shape” (Nuday).
What are the implications of this, you may be wondering?
That very question has been driving me of late, especially given my predisposition to a fascination with water (I’m a Pisces, what can I say?). This past moon cycle has felt like a return to the days at university. I’ve been enthralled, highlighting and transcribing quotes from Dr. Carly Nuday’s book, chewing on her Water Codes, my brain synapses firing off all sorts of connections.
Her work is confirming my intuitions about my own relationship with and respect for water. Not only that, it’s piecing together other areas of study that may seem entirely unrelated, i.e. intimacy energetics, the Ocean as the primordial womb, and the impact of our conception à birth on our future development.
The irony is that though we are composed of 99% water molecules, science knows and cares so little about this element, this intrinsic life-source energy.
Water is life, they say. The truth of this wisdom is dawning on me in a most dramatic way, like a crescendo building into the symphonic climax, all harmonies coherent, nesting in a most spectacular way. Because, like the greatest of symphonies or the most geometrically complex crystal, structure and harmony is vital. Water is no exception, rather the most tell-tale model of structural integrity’s consequential impact on life itself.

What’s interesting about water is that it’s never bound, fixed, nor rigid. As the most sensitive substance in the world, water, like us, is not definable. It’s ever-changing, a fluid receptor and transmitter, and infinitely vast. In fact, water updates its pattern every femtosecond (one-quadrillionth of a second), which speaks to water’s intelligence and learning ability (Nuday).
Molecularly, water changes with stimuli.
I’m sure you’ve heard of Dr. Emoto’s ground-breaking experiment, which proved that “positive and negative emotions have the largest influence on the structure of water.” What about EMFs? The Schumann Resonance, or the Earth’s natural frequency, is 7.83 wave patterns a second. EMFs, on the other hand (like WiFi and microwaves) vibrate at billions of cycles per second. Yea, let’s walk around in a city for a week and analyze our nervous systems then contrast that with a week-long retreat in nature.
And it’s pretty fucking obvious to anyone with an inkling of sense in them that drinking sugar all day, pumping yourself with the COVID vaccine, eating meat poisoned with chemicals, scrolling one’s life away, nagging your partner, and getting disheartened staring in a mirror while focusing on all your “blemishes” will have harmful impact on your bio-waters (your body’s water).
We are what we consume. Our relationships tell us about how we treat ourselves. And our health (or lack thereof) points to the state (structure) of our bio-water.
Rumston Roy said that “structured water may be the single most malleable computer.” So, we have to operate with an appreciation of the impact of input/stimuli on the sensitivity of our bio-waters.

A school of fish is the best visual for understanding this fundamental quality about structured water, aka liquid crystals. The entire school may reform, but the molecular integrity of the individual fish remains the same. Together they take on a new structure with stimuli and impulse and do so organically, in the blink of an eye. “This flexibility and mobility makes liquid crystals many more times responsive than solid-state crystals….allowing (water) to have memory....” (Nuday).
Water has memory?
Why, indeed it does! Rather than continue a book report-esque explanation, I’ll give you a personal lived experience, which revealed to me that crystalline water is “I Am” consciousness.
It may ring true for you as well.
I was standing with my best friend along the shoreline at Secrets Beach in the New Moon darkness engaged with the aliveness of the Ocean’s spirit. I couldn’t see the waves breaking, but I could sense the energy and it felt very safe to play in the shore break, even though a quiet yet anxious voice in my Mind projected thousands of worst-case scenarios. I entered cautiously, taking my time to feel her movements before surrendering more fully to her vastness. My intention was humility, and I told her, the Ocean, as much.
She was communicating with me with her undulations, reflecting any fear instantaneously with a crashing wave that had me fumbling around gracelessly. I’d reconnect with her as she’d pull me through the break, reassuring me that I was safe. My trust in her built exponentially until I fully let myself play. She rewarded me with the smoothest waves, the most whimsical spins, a plethora of channels that seamlessly tucked me into the perfect spot. She manifested in a graceful form of play because I was listening. I was leaning into her suggestions and bringing in subtle movements, dancing with her spirit.
I ran to my best friend on the shore, who was having her own unique conversation with the water, and we shared our experiences, commenting on how the Ocean felt like a jokester.
Then, I made an off-handed comment that I had never been in the deep, deep Ocean where land was nowhere in sight.
Something immediately felt untrue about that confession.
Boom. Then it landed.
“Well, I was…when in the womb,” I told my friend.
Another layer of understanding clicked.

In that moment, my womb connected with my mother’s womb, where it all began. And that connected with deepest depths of the Ocean, the greatest most unconditional Mother Womb of all, the origins of life itself.
I felt my consciousness expand and my literal makeup change in that moment. The Ocean was revealing my true nature to myself that night. More of my liberated expression came online. My voice changed dramatically when speaking directly from my Heart. It was as if I was hearing my Self for the first time ever. So many patterns I’d been navigating and consciously unraveling seemed to casually unwind themselves. Centered and grounded in my spine, I was being moved by God, guided toward the light, willing to open and open and open.
And I experienced more humility than ever before. Intention fulfilled…
The download I received was that water recognizes and remembers all memory with no judgement nor preference. Water feels. Water reveals. And water heals.
“I literally don’t know who I am,” I blurted out to my best friend as we sat by the fire that night. I was overcome with how infinite and undefinable I am. There was nothing in that moment to grasp.
So indeed, I have been in the deep, deep Ocean simply because I am water. I carry memory of All. We all do. We are one system, collectively raising the frequency of Earth by consciously healing our bio-waters.
Water is life, they say.
But what do they really mean when they say that? The more I explore this topic, the more fascinating it gets….
We really need to take these inquires to the origin: BIRTH.
If water is so sensitive, can you imagine being a fetus in your mother’s womb waters?
Dr. Stan Groff proposes that we go through 4 distinct stages of birth, what he calls Basic Perinatal Matrices (BPM). They go as follows:
BPM I: From conception to development in the uterus.
BPM II: Labor ensues, we are pushed against the cervix by the mother’s contractions, but the cervix hasn’t dilated.
BPM III: Cervix opens and we move through the birthing canal.
BPM IV: We depart the womb and enter the world anatomically separate from the mother, but entirely dependent on her in all other ways.
Dr. Groff suggests that what we experience from conception to birth has a direct effect on our future development. Original birth is a universal rite of passage…and all subsequent rites of passage throughout our life, in many ways (if not entirely), mimic our original birth process.
WARNING – sensitive material ahead:
So, for example, if someone’s mother was considering abortion, the child may undergo a challenging life, fearing for their very lives.
You have no say in the womb. Your soul enters and then must endure or relish in the state of your mother’s internal world, her environment, the people she interacts with, the drugs she consumes, the songs she sings to you, the food she nourishes herself with, and the list goes on and on.
Water has memory. And we each carry a specific story, an ancestral lineage. But we are not bound to these past stories. Water is not inherently stagnant. Water flows and transforms, updates and reflects.

To me, this is the crucial link.
Care to go even deeper on this water rabbit-hole with me? Hold tight. It gets far more interesting.
Our thoughts compounded with emotions do indeed impact our water’s structure, as do all things that surround us. And guess what, our bio-water impacts the environment in which we are immersed! They aren’t mutually exclusive. That’s what makes it possible for saints to walk amongst the most treacherous of humanity’s demise, thick with suffering and resistance…where humanity is non-harmonious…where fear manifests itself through emotion. It’s also where miracles can happen, just because one bio-water system, that of the saint, has the ability to transfer loving awareness into other systems (people) simply due to the Principle of Resonance.
And we can prove this with EEG scans. Brainwave patterns in a healer fluctuate and change until they establish a level of resonance with the healee, at which point the brainwave patterns of the healer fluctuate and raise to a more coherent frequency pattern through established resonance.
Essentially what Dr. Nuday is conveying is that someone embodied in higher frequencies with greater coherence can transfer this information and “heal” others by A) establishing resonance with the “other” by attuning to them, then B) raising the frequency of their own and then the “other’s” bio-waters.
The healer is helping to structure the healee’s bio-waters. What’s really happening is that the saint, or healer, is helping this misguided person come back into a higher frequency and create a coherent field where there’s no separation.
We call water a liquid crystal because of its structure. “If a substance has a repeating geometric pattern of molecular arrangement – a 3D grid of symmetrically arranged molecules, called a lattice formation, then it is called a crystal” (Nuday). Water works the same way….it’s just liquid in form, thereby vastly more complex. Like crystals, water’s structure determines its “properties, or characteristics and abilities,” “memory and responsive information storage,” and the “ability to transmit signals.” The more organized the patterns, the more efficiently the information can flow through the pathways. This applies to both liquid and solid-state crystals.
But we mustn’t confuse bulk water with crystalline water. They are, as Dr. Nuday explains, “entirely different substances.” Just as coal, graphite, and diamond all share the same chemical compound of carbon, it’s the structural arrangement that make them vastly different substances. Graphite’s layered structured makes it brittle, whereas diamond’s 3D interlocking grid of perfect symmetry makes it the hardest substance in the world.

Dr. Nuday points to the health of our systems, all of our systems, being entirely dependent on the structure of our bio-waters. If the water molecules that surround and penetrate our cells are disorganized and dead (bulk water), then that will directly impact the state of the cells. These cells are thereby vibrating at a lower frequency and have less structure, thus function as a less powerful system.
Frequency is a word that we in the spiritual community use quite frivolously, but truly understanding the nature of this all-important universal phenomenon will open up and connect the threads of our very essence.
Frequency is two-fold, electricity and magnetism (aka electromagnetism) and makes up “all perceivable energies in the Universe.” Nuday explains that not a single reaction happens in the body that is not electromagnetic in nature. We cannot assign a frequency to a human, however, because it is likely that cells are vibrating at a different frequency in different parts of the body.
The way our cellular frequencies interact throughout our body either creates coherence or incoherence. Think of it like a band. If the guitar player is all out of tune and rhythm, then the band’s “system”, so to speak, is not coherent, a kind way of saying that they sound like shit. Our bodies work the same way.
Okay, okay, so why bother understanding this? Well, if you’re interested in your evolution, you’re going to want to know more about water. Like I mentioned, we are 99% water molecules. If water can levitate, shape-shift, and teleport, attributes that scientist have now proven, couldn’t we all?
Science is behind its time, in my opinion. Water is a Spirit, and there’s no limits to the infinite. Our puny human minds hardly comprehend our unbounded nature, so we consider levitation the end-all-be-all of our enlightenment and say, that’s it! We’ve done it!
No flippin way. Water is way cooler than that!

Anyway….
A truly healthy system has coherence, which means the individual components are working together harmoniously. The healthy DNA is surrounded by water with a crystalline matrix. There is order. Zoom in and analyze the structure of the water and you’ll notice a geometrically complex symmetry. Zoom in even more and you’ll notice that the smaller branches are identical to the greater system, making it a fractal. Why is this important? Well, the angles (nodal points) are where the information is stored. The lines between the angles are where the information travels. When there is greater symmetry, the information can travel faster and store with more efficiency. Engine running at full capacity, in other words. Structure.
Any deviations from these healthy (complex) patterns cause incoherence, which lead to dissonance, a mathematical way of looking at disease: “where some pathology of a system or symptom of disorder would be reflective in its vibrations, oscillations, or frequencies being out of phase or out of tune” (Nuday).
“Science is the spirituality of ‘rational’ and Western thought,” reducing the universe into “a model with logic, rules, and laws” (Nuday). We mustn’t treat water as such. We mustn’t treat our bio-waters as such, limiting the infinite love and light that is always available.
We are constantly broadcasting a very complex electromagnetic field, which is a direct reflection of our inward state of being. This paints the picture of our reality, but we are not defined by this due to the nature of water. Though we may have dissonance in our systems, though we may be playing out the old patterns passed down through our ancestry, we are malleable. Change is constant. So, may it be for love!
Small acts of kindness compound. Eat that healthy meal. Pause in gratitude for the sun, belly laugh with a toddler, hug yourself, spray rose water on your face when you feel foggy, and sing to your water. Pray and cherish every moment. Raise your frequency and do so consciously. Structure your bio-water so that the love-light can have a place to land.

If we are water, then we have trembled in hurricane gusts. We have rumbled down raging rapids and trickled from pristine springs. We’ve dripped down cheeks in the form of grief. Up the spine of a mighty tree, we have nourished the Earth. If we are water, then we know the sorrow and bliss of our mother, for we were tethered to her, as we are tethered to Earth in these bodies. Always returning to the Ocean. And back to the Sky, who holds us until the swelling unleashes a drizzle or a drenching. We’ve ran down the precipice of holy lands. But we also carry the memory of toxins leeching our vitality, oil thickening our gulfs, and plastic feigning itself as food, chocking and killing the Spirits and guardians of the Ocean. We remember it all.
Water feels. Water reveals. And water heals.
You’re a liquid crystal, my darling. Now treat yourself as such.
Sending your water a beam of appreciation from the center of my heart.
Love,
Riddle
